Natalie Keita

Hello and welcome to my personal blog!

Hi, My name is Natalie Keita and I am a rising senior at Central High School of Philadelphia.

Backstory

My interest within the STEM and medical feild began in 2017 when I was diagnosed with HS. Up until that point I believed I had everything figured and was determined to become a lawyer. After my diagnosis, I began researching and ultimately falling in love with the study of skin, dermatology. One day I hope to become a dermatologist and own several private practices and my own skincare and haircare line. I know that Girls who Code will help me along my journey, as every well-managed businesses usually has a website. I believe the skills I will learn during the summer immersion will make me become a well rounded and self-sufficient young adult. Diversity in the STEM feild is very important and paving the way for younger generations would bridge the gender and racial achievement gap in the STEM Feild.
